O-Z is an imaginative new vision of L. Frank Baum's beloved fairytale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, retold through a series of tableau photographs featuring original staging and bespoke costumes designs by Bamby of Suburbia. The photographs in the series draw inspiration from Baum's text and William Wallace Denslow's original color plate illustrations. The fantastical characters of Oz are brought to life in over two dozen colorful vignettes that aesthetically nod to their origins whilst also offering a fresh and contemporary editorial fashion slant. The photographs in this edition are accompanied by select excerpts from the original 1900 novel.
